PDFDESK GUIDE

How to merge PDF files in the right order

Merging is useful when a form, supporting document and receipt must be submitted as one file. PDFDesk lets you arrange files and individual pages before creating the combined PDF.

Collect the correct source files

Use the final version of each PDF and give the files clear names on your device. Unlock any protected document with its existing password before adding it.

The combined input limit is 50 MB. Large image-based PDFs may use substantial browser memory.

Set the final page order

Add two or more files, then move files or drag individual page handles in the preview. Remove an unwanted page or rotate a sideways page before creating the result.

Check that cover pages, annexures and receipts follow the order expected by the recipient.

Understand what page copying can change

PDF pages usually preserve their visible content, but document-level bookmarks, forms, attachments and links may not survive in the same way.

Existing digital signatures can become invalid because a new combined document is created.

Review the combined file

Open the download, count the pages and check the boundaries between source documents. Keep every original until the merged copy has been accepted.
